Standing document camera scanners are a type of scanners on a tripod, operating on the principle of a stationary camera. They enable scanning of all objects, from business cards to 3D objects.
These scanners have a compact structure in the form of a tripod with a photographic lens placed on a foldable arm. Useful especially where there is a need to digitize documents of non-standard size, old prints of particular value, stapled documents, books as well as three-dimensional objects that, for various reasons, cannot be scanned with a classic scanner.
