Through direct integration with MVN Animate, the gloves quickly provide technicians and artists with complex and precise hand and finger movements to create complete and believable 3D characters. Precise finger tracking
Combining durability with precision, the Prime II Xsens gloves feature industrial-grade flex sensors coupled with high-performance inertial measurement units. Flex sensors measure 2 joints per finger, enhanced with 11DOF tracking of individual fingers by the IMU to ensure precise finger movements. IMU drift is prevented by newly implemented auto filters, enhanced by the reference points of robust flex sensors. This allows you to measure finger spread in detail without losing quality when capturing live performances.
