The Ultraleap Ultrahaptics STRATOS ™ Inspire Haptic Module is suitable for creating sophisticated tactile effects in the air for interactive public and demonstration installations. The plug-and-play device can create various tactile effects in the air in a 3D interaction zone larger than 26 ”x 22” x 22 ”. STRATOS Inspire is suitable for digital signage, event marketing, location-based entertainment and AR / VR applications. The device has been designed to comply with consumer regulations and for use in public spaces and can be bolted to existing display solutions or used to develop new, innovative solutions.

STRATOS Inspire is a robust plug-and-play touch module suitable for creating sophisticated tactile effects in the air for experiential marketing, digital out-of-home installations and entertainment. Designed according to consumer regulations for use in public spaces, the STRATOSInspire can be applied to existing display solutions or used to create innovative new experiences.
The STRATOS Inspire tracks the hands of users with the world's leading Leap Motion controller and displays tactile effects using ultrasound.
This creates a three-dimensional, tactile interaction zone with dimensions of over 63 cm. X 48 cm W x 48 cm H (25 ”D x 19” W x 19 ”H). The simplest type of effect is a single pressure point with a diameter of only 8.6 mm. With a refresh rate of 40kHz, the pressure points are then shifted very quickly in 3D space to create a variety of tactile effects in the air, including:
- Virtual buttons and sliders as well as touch pulses and alerts
- Immersive sensations such as textures, the presence of virtual objects, surfaces and shapes
- Magical sensations like lightning, fireballs, ghosts, clouds, bubbles and force fields.
