Murena smartphones run on the open source operating system "/e/OS" which is completely "unGoogled" by default it does not send any data to Google.

/e/OS is an open source operating system with no Google apps or services collecting your data.

The default Google search engine has been removed from the operating system and replaced with the Murena meta search engine.

A compatibility layer with Google services has been implemented.

Connectivity controls use Murena's own infrastructure instead of Google's servers.
The NTP pool project is used instead of Google's network time protocol servers.
DNS servers are set by the network provider instead of Google's domain name system servers. Murena also offers the option to use 9.9.9.9 or 1.1.1.1.
Geolocation uses Mozilla's location services in addition to GPS.

/e/OS is paired with carefully selected applications. They create an internal privacy-enabled system for the Murena smartphone.

Murena Workspace includes an ad-free search engine, email platform, secure online storage, document management, calendar and many other online tools that create a unique environment with enhanced privacy.

Your @murena.io account is at the center of your private digital life, allowing you to safely store, backup and recover your data on remote servers. The murena.io account includes 1 GB of free storage and a free email address.
