Magic Leap 2 with a safety certificate
On October 20, 2023, UL Solutions, a world leader in the field of security sciences, issued the world's first security certificate for equipment using virtual (VR), augmented (AR) and mixed (MR) reality technologies.
ANSI/CAN/UL 8400 is a new standard dedicated to computers and spatial devices and the security of augmented reality (XR) equipment.
The first device to be compliant with this standard in the USA and Canada is the Magic Leap 2 goggle.
Magic Leap as a company helps companies define the world as it emerges and develops within the corporation. The technology it offers gives people the opportunity to use their senses to interact with digital information and translates this data into information useful to the enterprise.
It changes the way professionals look at new technology, obtain data and do their own work by creating new opportunities and paths for programmers, scientists, etc.
The product of the integration of these two worlds is the Magic Leap 2 AR goggles for enterprises. They excel at handling custom solutions at scale. They are equipped with one of the highest possible processors (CPU/GPU) among all available AR goggles on the market. The Magic Leap Dynamic Dimming™ technology used in them makes augmented reality content more readable in various lighting conditions. They are easy to configure, scale and manage.
