Microsoft Teams now hosts meetings in 3D and VR.
With MS Teams integrated with Mesh, you can now schedule and join virtual reality (VR) meetings directly from your calendar. The app supports natively flat screen PC and natively in VR on Meta Quest via a dedicated Mesh app, available on AppLab and the Quest store.
Thanks to Teams, we get pre-configured 3D environments, and via the Mesh platform you can create custom spaces that you can join.
Standard Mesh features, such as avatars and immersive spaces during Teams meetings, are available as part of the Microsoft 365 or Teams business plan.
Custom immersive spaces are available with a Teams Premium license or a six-month trial of Mesh Premium and the Mesh app.
