MS Cobalt and Maia
Microsoft has developed AI semiconductor chips. The first one, Maia, is designed to run generative artificial intelligence in data centers. The second one, Cobalt, is designed to support cloud software services and is based on the ARM architecture. It was assumed that Cobalt will be integrated with the MS Azure cloud platform in 2024.
