There are three primary rotation points in gait: heel rotation, ankle rotation, and forefoot rotation.
- Tekscan’s 3-Box approach segments the foot for more detailed analysis of these three primary rotation points in gait. The gait curve shows the total vertical ground reaction force from heel strike to toe-off.
- Force-time graphs for the forefoot and heel provide specific loading patterns during heel and forefoot contact, independent of and in conjunction with the gait curve.
