The RealWear Navigator Z1 is a professional, intrinsically safe, assisted reality wearable device. It's an industrial smart glass/headset designed for use in ATEX and IECEx Zone 1/21 hazardous areas.
The device is designed for frontline workers who need both hands free while performing tasks. Voice control allows them to operate applications, documentation, video calls, the camera, and digital procedures without having to use the touchscreen.
The RealWear Navigator Z1 utilizes the powerful Qualcomm QCS6490 platform, 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal memory. In its current configuration, the device offers a high-resolution main camera and an integrated FLIR Lepton 3.5 thermal imaging module, enabling simultaneous visual and thermal inspections.
A four-microphone system with active noise reduction ensures voice command recognition even in environments with noise levels up to 100 dBA.

Voice control – completely hands-free
One of the most important features of the RealWear Navigator Z1 is the ability to operate the device hands-free.
The system is designed to recognize voice commands in very noisy industrial environments. Four digital microphones utilize active noise reduction, enabling voice control at ambient noise levels up to 100 dBA.
This allows the worker to simultaneously:
perform service tasks, use digital instructions, converse with an expert, take photos, record video, conduct inspections, review documentation, and follow a digital procedure step by step
without putting down tools or using a handheld device.

Remote Support and Expert Collaboration
RealWear Navigator Z1 can be used to conduct remote consultations between an employee located in an Ex zone and an expert working in any location.

Assisted Reality Display
The Navigator Z1 uses a color microdisplay placed in the user's field of view.
