The Iristick H1 is an industrial smartglasses in the form of a modular headset, designed for use in harsh environments.
The device can be attached to a safety helmet, bump cap, or the supplied headband.
Its design allows for use with personal protective equipment (PPE) and standard prescription glasses.
The adjustable display can be positioned in front of either the left or right eye and tilted out of the field of view when not needed.
The Iristick H1 enables hands-free operation, including video calls, taking photos, documenting inspections, scanning codes, displaying instructions, and consulting with a remote expert.
The device is equipped with central cameras that capture images from the user's perspective and an additional camera with a 6x optical zoom, a laser target pointer, and LED lighting.
Control can be performed using voice commands and a touchpad.
The glasses do not function as a standalone computer. They are connected via coaxial cable to the Iristick Pocket Unit module, and then to an Android or iOS smartphone. The smartphone is responsible for running applications, processing data, and connecting to Wi-Fi or cellular data. The design is IP67-rated, meaning it is dustproof and resistant to brief immersion in water within the limits defined by this protection class.

Software Required
A compatible smartphone or tablet running Android or iOS is required.
The mobile device must be running the app that supports the glasses. Simply connecting the Iristick H1 without the app enabled does not provide access to its functions.
There is no single app for all applications. Choose the software appropriate for the intended use of the device.
Iristick.Assist
An app designed for remote support and video consultations.
Installed on the smartphone of the glasses wearer.
It allows the employee's view to be transmitted to a remote expert.
The expert can join the session via a web browser without installing any additional app.
An internet connection is required.
The manufacturer recommends a bandwidth of at least 1.5 Mbps in both directions.
The app is available for Android and iOS.
Iristick.Teams
An app that allows you to conduct Microsoft Teams conversations using the glasses.
Requires the Iristick.Teams app to be installed on your smartphone. Requires a Microsoft 365 corporate account with access to Microsoft Teams.
Requires an active Iristick.Teams license or an available trial period.
The organization's administrator may be required to complete a one-time application setup in the Microsoft Entry ID environment.
A Wi-Fi, 4G, or 5G connection is required.
The manufacturer recommends at least 1.5 Mbps upload and download speed.
Iristick.Collector
An application for structured data collection during inspections, quality control, and fieldwork.
It allows for voice data entry, image capture, and barcode and QR code scanning.
Requires the Iristick.Collector app on a smartphone.
Requires a user account and access to the Iristick.Collector online portal, where forms, templates, and lists of inspected objects are prepared.
After data synchronization, the application can run offline. A connection is required to send results to the portal.
Custom App Using the Iristick SDK
The manufacturer provides an SDK (Software Development Kit) for Android and iOS.
The SDK allows you to create custom apps using cameras, a HUD (Head-Up Display), microphones, voice control, a barcode scanner, a touchpad, and the device's sensors. An application developed using the SDK can run without installing Iristick.Assist, Iristick.Teams, or Iristick.Collector.
Access to the SDK is subject to a separate license from the manufacturer.
Smartphone Requirements
The current compatibility documentation recommends Android 11 or later.
Recommended processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon, Samsung Exynos, or Google Tensor.
A USB-C port supporting host mode is required.
The manufacturer indicates that there may be issues with some Huawei, OnePlus, OPPO, and Xiaomi models, even if their specifications appear to be compatible.
For Apple devices, the current documentation requires iOS or iPadOS 17.0 or later.
The Pocket Unit must have a connector compatible with the phone being used: Android USB-C, Apple USB-C, or Apple Lightning.
The manufacturer recommends confirming compatibility for your specific phone model before implementation.
Note regarding documentation
The H1 datasheet lists older minimum requirements: Android 8+ and iOS 12+. However, the manufacturer's current compatibility page lists Android 11+ and iOS/iPadOS 17+. New purchases and deployments require the newer, more restrictive requirements and confirmation of the specific phone model with Iristick.
