Holoswim 3 Pro Smart Swim Goggles

The Holoswim 3 Pro are smart swimming goggles with a translucent AR (Augmented Reality) display, designed for pool training, open water swimming, and triathlon training. Training data is displayed directly in the swimmer's field of view, eliminating the need to interrupt the swim or check a sports watch.

The goggles utilize a miniature display and a holographic optical waveguide. Information appears as a semi-transparent HUD (Head-Up Display), which should not completely obscure the user's view. Built-in GPS and compass modules are designed to support navigation during open water swimming. The device also monitors water temperature and depth.

After completing a workout, recorded data can be transferred to the HoloSport app, which provides detailed summaries, pace graphs, pool length analysis, SWOLF metrics, and AI-based training analysis. SWOLF is a measure of swimming efficiency calculated based on the time it takes to cover the length of the pool and the number of strokes performed.

Available Holoswim 3 Pro Variants

Standard Lens – standard version of the lenses without vision correction.
Custom Prescription – variant with individually selected prescription lenses.
The declared correction range for the custom version is from -2.00 to -6.00 diopters for each eye.
The prescription version will use lenses integrated into the glasses, not interchangeable eyepieces.
The manufacturer states that individual correction for the left and right eyes will be available by the end of August 2026.

Other Models in the HoloSport Offer

Holoswim 3 Pro – the most advanced model, designed for pool and open water use; equipped with GPS, a compass, a temperature sensor, and depth measurement.
Holoswim 2 Pro – a model designed primarily for pool training, with an AR display, training plans, and AI analysis, but without GPS and a compass.
Holoswim 2S – an entry-level model for monitoring pool training. SollaWave – goggles designed for pool workouts, featuring underwater music playback and voice training feedback instead of an AR display.
HandPlus B2 – an optional external heart rate monitor that works with the HoloSport ecosystem.

Software required for operation

The goggles can operate independently while swimming – the user doesn't need to carry a phone or watch.
The HoloSport app is required for initial setup, firmware updates, data synchronization, and workout analysis.
The HoloSport app is available for Android and iOS devices.
Minimum requirement for Apple devices: iOS 15.0 or later.
The app is available in Polish.
Training syncs after completing and saving the session, not continuously during swimming.
Confirmed data integration: Strava and Apple Health.
The manufacturer's general portfolio page also lists Garmin, but the detailed product table and app description primarily confirm Strava and Apple Health. The extent of integration with Garmin should be confirmed before purchase. No subscription is required to use the app's core features and AI analysis.

Disadvantages and limitations

The glasses do not have a built-in heart rate sensor.
Heart rate measurement requires the purchase of an additional HandPlus B2 sensor. According to the manufacturer, full support for HandPlus B2 on the Holoswim 3 Pro is expected to be available in September 2026.
The open water route guidance feature is expected to be available in a software update planned for the end of August 2026. GPS, compass, and route recording may work earlier, but these should not be considered complete route guidance.
Battery life with active GPS is reduced from a maximum of 16 hours to a maximum of 5 hours.
Advanced analysis, training history, route maps, and updates require a phone and the HoloSport app.
Data is transferred to the app only after saving a completed workout.
The manufacturer still lists a version with individual vision correction as a feature planned for the end of August 2026.
The product is significantly heavier and more complex than traditional, electronic-free swimming goggles.
The fit of the display and seals may depend on the user's facial anatomy. Training data and AI analysis are for ancillary purposes only and should not be considered medical measurements. Information regarding the app's privacy is inconsistent. The App Store states that the manufacturer does not collect data, while Google Play indicates that it may collect personal, location, health, and activity data, and also states that the data is not encrypted. Before using the product in an institutional environment, it is important to carefully review the privacy policy.
