The AiQ Synertial G6 MoCap Suits are professional, inertial full-body motion capture systems. They utilize IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) sensors deployed on the body to measure the orientation, acceleration, and velocity of individual body segments.
The system does not require a constant camera environment or a dedicated studio environment. It can be used indoors and outdoors, including for animation, biomechanical analysis, research, sports, ergonomics, robotics, training, and simulation.
The G6 family includes:
a suit with 18 IMU sensors for full-body motion capture and an additional sensor for a prop,
a suit with 30 IMU sensors for body and hand motion capture, also with an additional sensor for a prop,
optional gloves with 9, 12, or 16 sensors,
wired and wireless communication,
SynDash software, and integration with external 3D, engineering, and biomechanical environments.

Using technology described by the manufacturer as 15-axis and resistant to sensor saturation during fast movements.
A gyroscope range of 4000°/s is particularly important when analyzing very fast movements, such as throws, impacts, sports movements, acrobatic elements, or dynamic training activities. By comparison, many conventional inertial systems use gyroscopes with a range of around 2000°/s, which can reach their measurement limits during very fast maneuvers.

Data Format and Export
The basic SynDash software allows you to:

export data to formats such as BVH and FBX,
access raw data,
manage the wireframe model.
BVH, or Biovision Hierarchy, is a popular skeletal animation format. FBX is a more comprehensive 3D data exchange format supported by many animation, design, and game development programs.
For biomechanical applications, integration with Visual3D is also available. Data from the G6 system can be transferred to this environment via the MVNX format, among others.

SynDash Lite
The basic application for operating the system, enabling:

SynShow
