Software Required for Operation

The primary application is MYVU AR, provided by Hubei Xingji Meizu Network Technology Co., Ltd.
The application is used to connect the glasses to a smartphone, configure the device, translate, provide a teleprompter, navigate, provide notifications, and manage the glasses' functions.
MYVU AR is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Connection to the smartphone is via Bluetooth.
Functions that rely on network services, particularly the AI ​​assistant and translation, require an internet connection. The manufacturer does not guarantee full offline translation and warns that some features may be delayed outside of mainland China.

iPhone
The MYVU AR app itself requires at least iOS 13.0.

The official StarV Air2 website, however, provides a more limited hardware compatibility list: iPhone 13, 14, and 15 with iOS 16 or later.
The list on the product page is current at the time of release. Therefore, it does not constitute a definitive confirmation of compatibility with newer iPhone models.

Android and other systems

The manufacturer lists the following officially supported devices on the product page:

Polish Translation and Support

How Translation Works

Translation takes the form of automatic subtitles displayed in real time:

The glasses' microphones record the speaker's speech.
The system recognizes speech.
The speech is translated into the selected language.
The result appears as text on the glasses' display and in the MYVU AR app on the phone.
The audio source separation feature is designed to limit the display of the user's own speech and primarily show the other person's translation.
This mode is designed for two-person conversations.
The manufacturer recommends maintaining a distance of more than 50 cm between the user and the speaker.
The system can save transcriptions, organize content, and generate notes or a to-do list.

The manufacturer describes text translation primarily as subtitles. There is no explicit declaration that the glasses reproduce the full translation of the conversation with a voice.

The manufacturer also does not provide sufficient information to clearly confirm whether speech recognition and translation are performed entirely locally on the phone or partially in the cloud.

Is Polish supported?

No. Polish is not on the official list of StarV Air2 translation languages.

Polish is also not available as the interface language for the MYVU AR app. The Polish version of the App Store lists the following languages ​​for the app: English, Arabic, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Simplified Chinese, Thai, and Turkish.

The existence of a Polish version of the MEIZU website does not imply that the glasses or app support Polish. Is translation free?

The MYVU AR app is currently listed as free in the Polish App Store.
Apple does not provide an in-app payment section or subscription for MYVU AR.
Google Play offers the app for installation without a price.
I haven't found an official price list, a minute limit, a credit package, or a separate subscription for the translation feature.

Based on the available information, the feature is currently available at no additional cost after purchasing the glasses. However, there is no official guarantee that the pricing model will not change in the future. Users may also incur standard data costs required for internet services.

The meeting summary and minutes generation functions are officially described primarily for Chinese and English.
Some services, such as flight notifications, are limited to phones running the Flyme operating system. Privacy statements vary between platforms: Apple provides a manufacturer's declaration of no data collection, while Google Play informs about the possible collection and sharing of information such as location and personal data. This requires additional verification before using the glasses for confidential conversations or business meetings.
