Lucyd – AI-Enabled Smart Audio Glasses

Lucyd is a family of smart glasses manufactured by Innovative Eyewear Inc. under the brands Lucyd, Lucyd Armor, Reebok, Eddie Bauer, and Nautica.
These are primarily Bluetooth audio glasses, not traditional augmented reality glasses.
The frames feature open-ear speakers – sound is directed towards the ears, but the user can still hear their surroundings.
Built-in microphones allow for conversations, dictation of messages, voice assistant control, and conversations with AI models.
The glasses do not have a head-up display, projector, or image displayed on the lenses.
Current models are offered without a camera. The manufacturer presents the lack of a camera as a conscious decision to increase privacy and facilitate the use of the glasses in offices, schools, hospitals, museums, and restaurants.

The AI ​​functions do not work directly on the glasses. The glasses are an audio interface, while processing is performed on the smartphone and the Lucyd app or by an external AI service.

Charging time: Approximately 1.5–2 hours. The manufacturer's materials for the Reebok Dash are not entirely consistent in this regard – the graphics indicate 1.5 hours, while the description indicates 2 hours.

Lucyd Armor – Protective Variant

The glasses feature two speakers, microphones, touch controls, and the option to use prescription lenses.

Software Required for Operation

Basic Audio Features
Pairing the glasses with your smartphone via Bluetooth is sufficient for phone calls, listening to music, and navigation instructions.
The Lucyd app is not required to use the glasses as a standard Bluetooth headset.
The features then depend on the apps available on your phone, such as Spotify, Apple Music, Google Maps, Apple Maps, Siri, or Google Assistant.

AI Features and Translation
The Lucyd Personal AI app is required.
The app is available for iOS and Android.
The app can also be used without the Lucyd glasses – directly on your phone or with other Bluetooth audio devices. On iOS, the app works with Siri.
On Samsung devices, the manufacturer describes integration with Bixby and the "Ask Lucy" command.
The current version of the app supports various OpenAI and Claude models.
The July 2026 Android update also includes Gemini models.
The app also allows you to send photos and PDFs, generate images, save conversation history, and use Incognito mode. However, this content is displayed on the phone's screen, not in the glasses' lenses.
