High resolution color screen
The high-resolution color screen gives you enough space to display long texts, messages and interactive buttons. In standby mode, you can present your latest offers, products and solutions using a slideshow.

Document view
This signature pad allows you to display the document to be signed. You can sign directly in the document at the appropriate place. The signature is displayed in real time on the color screen of the signature pad, almost like on paper.

Highest security    
The biometric data of your signature (pressure, speed and writing direction) is already securely encrypted in the pad and is always securely transmitted.
The StepOver software solutions bring this signature into the document. The connection is asymmetrically encrypted with an RSA 4096 key.
The validity of the signature and the document integrity can be checked with freely available software (e.g. Acrobat Reader).
To prevent theft, the duraSign Pad Brilliance can be secured using Kensington Lock.

eIDAS compliant
This StepOver Signature Pad is suitable for setting up a system for simple and advanced electronic signatures in accordance with eIDAS.

Note: The pad screen displays the signature in real time and can be used to display texts, documents, and virtual buttons. The LED backlight has an expected lifespan of 20,000 operating hours. The screen can be switched off and on again via software (recommended if the device is also connected to a switched-on computer outside of working hours e.g. to a computer running 24/7).

SAFETY

Kensington Slot anti- theft system
The back of the housing has a standard Kensington Security Slot. This slot is suitable for normal Kensington locks (T-Bar) and flat ClickSafe Kensington locks (e.g. model K64637WW with T-Bar). Inside, the slot is reinforced with a metal plate. Only mild/moderate force should be applied to the ClickSafe Security Anchor, otherwise the housing may

Date stamp (optional): Optional function: The UTC/GMT date stamp must be requested when placing your order (subject to cost). It cannot be activated retrospectively, as it requires an internal battery which supplies an internal pad clock with power. The date stamp may deviate by one day per year - subject to surcharge – Only when ordered ex-works.

Tamper detection (optional): The tamper detection function must be requested when placing your order (subject to surcharge). It cannot be activated retrospectively, as it requires an internal battery that supplies an internal memory with power. This internal memory unit holds a key that is unique to each pad, so long as it is supplied with power. If the housing is opened, the power supply is interrupted and the key is deleted. The next time it is used, the firmware integrated into the main processor detects that the key for the volatile memory is no longer equivalent to its own, and therefore that the signature pad may have been tampered with. If the signature pad should exceed the battery lifespan, it can be renewed by StepOver. In this regard, the device is also checked for integrity (tampering) and the alarm is reset - subject to surcharge – Only when ordered
ex-works.
