Mentra Live is the only smart glasses with an app store, so your experience constantly evolves. Ask AI questions about what you see, capture photos and videos, livestream to anywhere (Twitch, X, YouTube, TikTok), listen to music, take calls, get live captions and translations, utilize AI note-taking, and much more.

What makes Mentra Live so unique?
Mentra Live is the only smart glasses with an app store, which means your experience can constantly evolve. With other glasses, your experience is locked into a closed ecosystem. Your data and information is used to serve you ads and gain information about your life. (i.e., Meta!) With Mentra Live, it's your data, your apps, your glasses. They're also all-day wearable. Other AI glasses claim the same, but they're over 50 grams and uncomfortable after a few hours. Mentra Live is build to become a seamless part of your everyday life.

Does Mentra Live have a display?
No. That's on purpose – lighter, longer-lasting, and more comfortable. Displays add weight and drain the battery. Mentra Lives are some of the lightest smart glasses on the market (not to mention amongst the most affordable). However, Mentra Display will be coming later on in 2026.

Does Mentra Live work with my prescription lenses?
Yes. You can swap your Mentra Live lenses through any optician.

How long does the battery last?

You cannot swim with Mentra Lives, but they are fine for light rain, sweat, and everyday use. Don't wear them in heavy rain.

Yes, you can take videos, photos, calls, listen to music, and more without internet.

What is the Infinity Cable?
The Infinity Cable is a special cable that plugs into your glasses and lets you charge them while you wear them for infinite battery life. It's powered by a battery pack, your phone, or anything with USB-C.

MentraOS is an open-source operating system (OS). It's the industry-leading OS, built for Even Realities, Vuzix, Mentra Live, and more. Open source means a product's design or source code is publicly accessible, allowing anyone to view, modify, and distribute it, fostering collaborative development and transparency.

What is a Mentra MiniApp?
MiniApps are the apps you can find in our Mentra app on iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play Store).
