Gentle Monster Intelligent Eyewear
Gentle Monster Intelligent Eyewear is an announced collection of smart glasses being jointly developed by Gentle Monster, Samsung, and Google. The product combines Gentle Monster's distinctive, fashionable design with the Android XR platform, Samsung hardware solutions, and Google's Gemini artificial intelligence assistant.
The first generation is expected to fall into the audio glasses category. This means the glasses deliver information verbally through built-in speakers but do not display images, text, or maps directly on the lenses. Display glasses are being developed as a separate, later category of Android XR devices.
The device will function as an accessory that works with a smartphone. Users can activate Gemini by saying "OK Google" or tapping the side of the frame, then ask questions about their surroundings, control communication, navigation, the camera, translation, and compatible mobile apps.
The first Gentle Monster Intelligent Eyewear collection is expected to launch in fall 2026 in select markets. Availability in Poland has not yet been confirmed.
