LLVision GLXSS SE are lightweight, modular AR (Augmented Reality) glasses designed primarily for industrial and business applications.
The device allows workers to perform tasks hands-free, receive instructions, capture first-person perspective images, and collaborate remotely with experts.
The glasses can be used for equipment servicing, inspections, maintenance, on-the-job training, quality control, telemedicine, and remote technical support, among other things.
LLVision GLXSS SE are lightweight, modular AR (Augmented Reality) glasses designed primarily for industrial and business applications.

The glasses can be used for equipment servicing, inspections, maintenance, on-the-job training, quality control, telemedicine, and remote technical support, among other things.
The modular design allows the electronic module to be detached from the frame and mounted on safety glasses, sunglasses, the user's own glasses, or a hard hat.
The GLXSS SE is not a typical standalone AR computer. The manufacturer's public materials indicate compatibility with a compatible Android phone or tablet connected via a USB-C cable.

Durability and Design
The manufacturer declares the design to be resistant to water, dust, and elevated temperatures.
However, the manufacturer does not provide a specific IP rating or operating temperature range for the GLXSS SE on the current website.
A special explosion-proof version is available, designed for applications such as the energy, chemical, and mining industries. Technical and certification details are available from the LLVision sales department.
Available Models and Variants
GLXSS SE – standard industrial version.
GLXSS SE Explosion-Proof Edition – explosion-proof version designed for high-risk environments; the manufacturer does not publish ATEX or IECEx certificate numbers on the website.
Available components and accessories include sunglasses, safety glasses, corrective lenses for nearsightedness, and the option to mount the module on a helmet or other frames.
LEION Pro and LEION HEY2 are separate models in the LLVision portfolio, not variants of the GLXSS SE. The LEION Pro is a more advanced AR headset, while the LEION HEY2 focuses on translation and transcription.
Required Software
The scope of software required depends on the selected application.
Basic Requirements
A compatible Android phone or tablet.
Connect the glasses to your mobile device via USB-C.
A dedicated LLVision app, a technology partner app, or a custom-developed app using the SDK.
The public LLVision documentation for remote collaboration and the UX SDK specifies Android 5.1 or later.
The ARISE platform specifies Android 6.0 or later. These are very old minimum versions of Android, so current compatibility with Android 13–16 should be confirmed with the manufacturer or integrator.
LLVision ARISE Enterprise Service Platform
A platform designed for comprehensive enterprise deployments.
Available as SaaS (Software as a Service), private installation, or a mixed deployment.
Supports remote collaboration.
Supports E-SOP (Electronic Standard Operating Procedure).
Enables the sharing of instructions, images, documents, and videos.
Supports object recognition, OCR (Optical Character Recognition), QR codes, object tracking, and other AI mechanisms.
Includes an AR knowledge base.
It can be integrated with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), MES (Manufacturing Execution System), and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems. Published platform requirements include Android 6.0+, Google Chrome 56+, and Ubuntu 16.04+ for server deployment.
LLVision UX SDK
SDK [Software Development Kit] for Android.
Enables the creation of custom applications and interfaces for GLXSS SE.
Includes interface elements, button support, gestures, head movements, voice recognition, and barcode and QR code scanning.
Voice recognition can work online or offline, but the manufacturer does not publish a complete list of supported languages.
SAP AR FSM
Optional solution that integrates the glasses with SAP FSM [Field Service Management].
Requires an SAP FSM account.
Requires the AR FSM app for Android.
The manufacturer's documentation also indicates the SAP Field Management app.
The solution is used for completing service requests, connecting with experts, and transmitting images, documents, and AR labels.
Third-Party Software
GLXSS SE is listed as compatible with, among others, the AMA XpertEye Advanced platform for remote collaboration.
In this case, a dedicated AMA phone or terminal and a license for the XpertEye service are required. Features depend on the software vendor selected and may not be available in the standard LLVision package.
