Manus Metagloves Pro

MANUS Metagloves Pro are professional measuring gloves designed for highly accurate recording of hand and finger movements. The system uses five electromagnetic field (EMF) sensors located on the fingertips. Each sensor measures position and orientation across six degrees of freedom.
The gloves replicate an anatomical hand model with 25 degrees of freedom, allowing them to record both basic gestures and fine movements of individual joints and fingertips. The manufacturer recommends them primarily for robotics, AI model training, motion analysis, scientific research, and professional motion capture.

Technical Specifications
Finger Tracking System
Technology: EMF-based tracking.
Number of sensors: 5, one on each finger.
Degrees of freedom of a single sensor: 6 DoF.
Position data: 3 axes.
Rotation data: 3 axes.
Sampling rate: 120 Hz.
Declared motion-to-data latency:
- wired connection: 30 ms,
- wireless connection: 50 ms.
Sensor housing material: PA-12, i.e., polyamide 12.

The manufacturer also announced that the firmware update reduced the typical sensor latency to approximately 25 ms ± 4.5 ms when using a wired connection and approximately 41.5 ms ± 4.5 ms when using a wireless connection. However, the technical documentation still lists nominal values of 30 and 50 ms, so it's worth confirming the current hardware and firmware version before purchasing.

Hand Model
Full anatomical model of the human hand.
Degrees of freedom: 25 DoF.
