With custom special parts and carefully designed internal mechanical system, RPLIDAR A2 maintains
excellent performance while reducing the thickness to only 4 cm. It is ideal for all kinds of service robots.

The LIDAR sampling rate directly decides whether the robot can map quickly and accurately.

RPLIDAR improves the internal optical system and algorithm system to make the sampling rate reach 8000 times, which is the highest in the current economic LIDAR industry.

Compared with the traditional belt drive mode, RPLIDAR A2 uses a self-designed brushless motor to reduce the mechanical friction during operation. Therefore, RPLIDAR A2 can run smoothly and without noise.

Thanks to the optimization of the algorithm, RPLIDAR increases the radius of coverage by 16 meters, which will allow for obtaining more data thanks to a larger map of the environment outline.
