The Signotec Kronos Pen Display is not a signature tablet, but an 11.6-inch (29.5 cm) extension monitor with a pen and touch input. The device can be placed flat on a table or placed on the integrated stand.
The pen display is connected via a 3-in-1 HDMI cable and presents itself as a second monitor. The primary display can be duplicated or extended via the monitor settings in Windows. The signature capture application is displayed on the pen display.
The operating system can be operated using the pen or optional touch input. In compatible applications, pen input can also be used for notes and drawings in addition to signature capture. An optional API is available for direct access to pen coordinates and pressure data. It can also be used to separate mouse movement from pen input.
